- Cytotec is commonly used to induce labor, but it is not approved for use in this manner by the FDA or anyone else but obstetric tradition. Women and babies DIE from this. Just because it is routine use does not make it safe or wise. Please read this site and be informed before allowing someone to induce your labor with this drug(or other nonnatural methods.
Because misoprostol ("miso," "Cytotec") is being used more and more--without informed consent and without being FDA-approved for use on pregnant women, a mother, Maddy Oden--who lost her daughter and grand-daughter because of this drug--has developed this Web site for us all.

- Unbelieveable horror for a young mother with severe infection that worsened in the hospital under treatment. Super drugs have bred super bugs that are resistant to antibiotics. Whoever has heard of pneumonia infection resulting in a triple amputation and blindness? Note the key sentence: "Doctors administered medication but it only made things worse."

- I learned about the Brewer Diet for Pregnancy from Tom Brewer's books, and from chatting with him many times on the phone. He was a wonderful man who helped pregnant women and their babies and saved many lives, I am sure. As midwives, we see the result of his work in the absence of preeclamsia and toxemia in our practices among women who follow his nutritional advice. This is another site explaining the principles.
